About
Ostawat Agriculture is one of the community-based endowment programs launched by Waqfeyat Misr in partnership with Banque du Caire. The initiative aims to train men and women in practical agricultural skills. The program focuses on teaching the fundamentals of sustainable farming, including soil preparation, planting techniques, and crop care — all delivered through field-based, hands-on training in real agricultural environments.
The project is not only about education, but also about empowerment. It equips participants with practical skills that open new pathways for employment and productivity, while fostering a strong connection between skill acquisition and community service.”
Our Mission
We strive to empower individuals through practical, hands-on agricultural training that equips them with sustainable skills, enabling them to generate income and contribute meaningfully to the well-being of their communities.
This initiative transforms untapped human potential into purposeful, productive outcomes — nurturing growth from knowledge to impact.
Our Approach
Inclusive, Practical Training
We provide comprehensive, hands-on agricultural training open to all, regardless of previous experience, equipping participants with the skills needed to succeed in sustainable farming.
Field-Based Learning
Training takes place directly in agricultural settings where trainees work with real tools, soil, and crops under expert guidance, turning knowledge into practice.
Sustainable Farming in Action
After training, participants apply their new skills to cultivate crops sustainably, promoting environmental stewardship and long-term productivity.
Productive Waqf Model
The project is funded through a waqf system that ensures continuous support for training and farming activities, fostering sustainable community development.
