Vocational Skills for Sustainable Impact
Ostawat Carpentry, launched in November 2022 with funding from Banque du Caire, is built on the product training model—where trainees learn by creating real products that serve their community. Through hands-on workshops, women and men are trained in woodworking techniques, safety, and the full process of producing durable wooden benches.
The benches made during training are not just practice pieces—they are installed in underserved public spaces, providing much-needed seating for the elderly and those in need. This way, every product becomes both a learning tool and a community service.
Each bench produced by Ostawat Carpentry is more than furniture—it’s a symbol of skill development, dignity, and community care. Together, we’re building a stronger, more supportive environment for all.
Provide practical carpentry training for beginners
